A : For a new student the minimum age requirement is 5 years as per the Hijri Calendar at the starting of Madrassah New Year (Normally the 2nd week of Moharrum).

A : Classes from Ibtidiyah (KG) till Khamesa (Yr 5) happen at Newington Public School (Newington Blvd, Newington NSW 2127) Classes from Sadesa (Yr 6) till Ashara (Yr 10) happen at Masjid al Fakhri (2 Argyle Street Auburn NSW 2144)

A : Every Saturday (as per the Madrassah Calendar) from 9:30 am to 3:40 pm. For Ibtidiyah the class finishes at 1:00 pm.

A : Every Parent/Parents of the registered child need to download the “Sydney-MH” App from PlayStore for Android phones and AppStore for Apple Phones. The User Guide of the App is available on the website which gives details of the App.

A : Every Family is expected to serve Lunch to the Madrassah Students, Teachers and Committee members once in a year. Please practice a NO NUTS policy while cooking the food as some students have severe nut allergies in the madrassah. Please check the Niyaz Calendar section after logging in the website to check when it is your turn for the Niyaz,

Newington School:

  • Classes KG to Year 5 (6 classes) are held at NPS
  • Lunch is served @ 12:40pm.
  • Arrive by 12:20pm to distribute lunch boxes in each class. Class teachers will assist you with the number of boxes to be given in each class.
  • Please ensure adequate quantity of food is provided as lunch is the only meal served to teachers and students during the entire madrassa session. Also serving tea (brough in a thermos) to teachers during the lunch break will be highly appreciated.
  • Required to take a garbage bag, safras and serviettes. Also spoons, if required
  • Collect all food boxes/wrappers etc left inside/outside the classroom and the play area. Empty out class bins into your garbage bag. Either take it home or dispose it of in the big bin located in the school car park
Masjid
  • Classes 6 to 10 are held in the masjid complex
  • Lunch break is @ 12:40pm.
  • Please ensure adequate quantity of food is provided as lunch is the only meal served to teachers and students during the entire madrassa session. Also serving tea to teachers after lunch will be highly appreciated.
  • Take safras, serviettes, and disposable glasses. Also spoons, if required.
  • Cleaners have been organised to clean the washrooms and vacuum the darees room and sahen.
  • Ensure masjid is clean with no visible rubbish/pencil shaving etc on the carpet. Vacuum the masjid, if required.

A : If the host family knows the dates that they will/might be unavailable, please inform Mustafa Bhai Vasi. Once the Niyaz schedule is published, host family will have to arrange their own swap.

A : All children attending madrasah, are compulsory required to wear madrasa uniform. Dikrao/ Dikrio (Non Misaak)- To wear Jabla Suit /Kurta Ezzar Topi and Scarf Misaak Dikrio - Uniform Rida. All uniforms are tailor made, and measurements are given by contacting Insiya ben Kapadia before the commencement of Madrasa year.

A : Madrasah has a strict NO MOBILE policy

A : Please apply leave through Student Leave Request Form.

A : Please Apply through the “Madrassah Leaving Form”

A : Parents are requested to pick up their children at 3:35 pm from the Masjid or Newington Public School. If the parent has 1 child in Newington Public School and 1 child in Masjid they are requested to pick the child from Newington Public School first. Newington Public School specially is a completely third party institution and there is no one to look after the kids if there is a delay so please strictly be on time by 3:35 pm.

A : Parents (Mardon) are requested to wear a Topi and Long Pants for both Masjid and Newington Public School and Ladies are requested to wear a Rida

A : Books are received by students whose fees are cleared or initiated at the beginning of the year. Normally the books are given on the first class of the year.
